We are One Hamilton
Municipal elections should be neutral. We shouldn’t even KNOW what political party our local officials belong to! Now that the Hamilton Democratic Town Committee has a new chairperson who is a Hamilton Wenham Human Rights Coalition follower- Nancy Stehfest , the town takeover by a 501 (c) (4) faith based, political lobby group is almost complete.
The Hamilton Wenham Human Rights Coalition is sponsoring an event designed to EXCLUDE candidates that they don’t approve of.
This will be a “positive” event because only the Coalition supporters will be allowed to speak freely. Non-Democrats are not invited and Independent thinking Democratic or Unenrolled candidates have the option of not attending or simply being booed off the zoom.
This event is publicized via the Hamilton Wenham Community Facebook pages that support the Coalition. This event designed to exclude Coalition non-followers should be widely shared and discussed.
HERE IS THE INVITATION sent to Democratic Candidates
Greetings Candidate!
The Wenham Democratic Town Committee and the Hamilton Democratic Town Committee invite you to participate in a Democratic Candidates’ Night on Zoom for those Democrats running in contested races in the April 7 elections in Hamilton and Wenham. We are promoting this event to registered Democrats in each town. The event will be Sunday, March 27 at 7-8:30 p.m. We’d like candidates in the room by 6:45 p.m. to ensure your audio and video are working. We hope you’ll stay for the entire event as well.
We will also allocate time for any Democrats running in any uncontested or write in races.
The format will be your 4-minute candidate introduction followed by a 3-minute response to a question posed by an audience member, which will be read by a host. All questions will be screened by the DTC chairs Kirsten Alexander (Wenham) and Nancy Stehfest (Hamilton). Please note that this is not a debate– it is intended to be a POSITIVE event with no gotcha questions. We request that you make no negative remarks about other Democratic candidates. The intention is to help the voters get informed and help get out the vote in this important election. We do hope to share the recording with Democrats unable to attend after the event.
You are welcome to drop your campaign links in the Zoom chat as we set up, and we’ll share them during your segment. And you can also let people know if you need volunteering help/signs/etc. While this is a nonpartisan race and your party will not be listed on the ballot, it’s our job as a DTC to organize local Democrats and work to elect Democrats to public office.
The order will be: Hamilton Select Board candidates (3), then Wenham Select Board (1), then School Committee (3). We’ll pull from a hat for random order just before we start.
There’s a lot of interest in this election. Our goal is to get our Democratic voters informed and energized!
Please let me know ASAP if you will be able to attend or not. Please note that names of participating candidates will not be included in the publicity for the event.
If for any reason you do NOT wish to be included in a list of Democratic candidates in our efforts to get out the Democratic vote, please also let me and Nancy know and we are happy to oblige.
Thank you,
Kirsten Alexander

Meet the Democrats running for School Committee and Select Board in Wenham and Hamilton
The Wenham and Hamilton Democratic Town Committees invite local Democrats to get to know your fellow Democrats running for office in the April 7, 2022 municipal elections at a special Zoom event this Sunday. There are contested races for School Committee and Select Board and we need Democrats to get out and vote.
When: Sunday Mar 27, 2022 07:00-8:15 PM
Zoom link not shared here…. Contact Nancy if you want to be allowed to participate in this Coalition controlled this event.
Just to be Clear
Kirstin Alexander and Nancy Stehfest are the chair people of Hamilton and Wenham Democratic Town Committees. They have no business using their positions to further the power grab by the Human Rights Coalition and town Commissions. This power grab, pledging to a political lobby, 501 (c) (4) is not condoned by the Massachusetts Democrats. We need transparency and public outcry to stop this UnDemocratic behavior and elect town officials who are INDEPENDENT THINKERS who answer to you and me- the VOTERS!!!
April 7th-
Vote for Democracy
