Anna Siedzik is moving on…. Her children are attending out of district schools and she has accomplished many of her goals. As an elected official Ms. Siedzik has had access to Hamilton government emails and began a strange relationship with town manager, Joe Domelowicz that gave her power and validation as a faith-based, political lobbyist. There are thousands of email exchanges between those two. I continue to question why a mere School Committee member would seek access to the town manager’s job evaluation?
This is not normal….
Anna Siedzik Accomplishments
- Recitation of a Native American proclamation before meetings so that she can affirm that all of Hamilton’s land belongs to native Americans. As far as I can tell, she has not yet returned her house and land to her friends who helped her push this world changing recitation. She wanted to put all Hamilton land in litigation to create a land dispute that had the potential to go to Land court if she had gotten her way!!!
- Demanding that students announce their pronoun and gender identity with the option of refusing. How humiliating to be the one to refuse. Students are encouraged to share whether they use the same gender identification at home and school, so that Ms. Siedzik can get into the homes and minds of the families and do her thing, nosing around in the personal lives of students….
- Ms. Siedzik made sure that precious academic time is spend on pronoun training, as early as Kindergarten. Parents have spoken up to the superintendent and I have been notified that this ended. Public schools are a place for ALL students to be protected with anti-bullying strategies and counselors or referrals for therapy as needed. This should cover the needs of ALL students including atheists, Jews and other religious minorities, ethnic, racial minorities, students with disabilities and of course, students who are part of the LGBTQIA community who might need extra adult intervention to provide anti-bullying strategies to keep them safe and treated respectfully. It is not the job of educators to implement programming in attempts to change hearts and minds. That’s where education comes in- reading, writing and discussing true history such as how Harvey Milk fought against hateful laws and current events such as the election of a openly gay governor.
- Anna Siedzik bullied outspoken feminists and atheists who merely asked that women and atheists be included as “protected classes” in the Hamilton Human Rights policy. Ultimately, the policy left marginalized groups non-specified but in the process she attacked anyone who actually dared to use the word “woman” …. Ms. Siedzik described her reasons for excluding women….. and then called anyone who disagreed with her “anti-human rights”, anti LGBTQIA and a TERF. (See image below).
- Hamilton Wenham high school dropped in rankings from being in top 10 in the state to not making it to the top 25…. https://www.niche.com/k12/search/best-school-districts/s/massachusetts/
- Ms. Siedzik achieved her goal of getting Coalition pledging, Jamie Belsito elected with all the force, time and money the Coalition could muster. Where were they when independent minded, non-Coalition pledging Kristin Kassner ran for office??? Will Anna Siedzik run for the Select Board?
James Knudsen’s seat is up for grabs and we do not yet know whether or not he will run again. Last time, he ran unopposed during the height of the Covid pandemic when no one else ran….. Mr. Knudsen unabashedly pushes the Christian Nationalist agenda which includes flying Christian flags …. Hopefully, prayer will not return to the All Town Meetings…..
Conflicts of Interest
James Knudsen is the liaison from the Select Board to the Hamilton Human Rights Commission (HHRC). His wife, Katie Knudsen is an officer on the faith-based, political lobby called the Hamilton Wenham Human Rights Coalition. The Knudsens have affiliations with the anti-LGBTQIA hate mongers at the Evangelical Institutions. James Knudsen is buddies with Anna’s Siedzik’s boss Andrew DeFranza, who runs the 7 church consortium owned company that Anna Siedzik works for. There is NO separation of church and state when all the same people are in control of Hamilton government, the Coalition, the HW Community Facebook pages and even the Hamilton Democratic Town Committee- the chair Nancy Stehfest is an officer in the HHRC.
Will Ms. Siedzik or Mr. Knudsen run for the Select Board?
or will someone else who respects the Constitution, someone who understands that protecting the wall separating church and state protects religious folks as well as atheists….
